“Hi,” he said with a nod.
“Hello,” I answered back with a shy smile.
“My name is Jeff,” he said.
“Jen,” I stated.
My heart was racing. Guys didn’t talk to me or ask me my name. I wasn’t used to this attention but I was loving it. I decided to shove all my insecurities in a box and be confident. Those years of acting lessons were good for something, if I could preform on stage then I could certainly talk to this guy.
“Those are some ghetto nails,” Jeff said, nodding towards my finger nails.
“Oh thanks,” I smiled, having no idea what ‘ghetto’ meant but I did think that my fake nails looked really cool in the black light, “My friend and I just had them done. We thought it would be fun.”
Jeff gave me a confused look because without knowing it, I had just killed his joke.
“You wanna go inside?” he asked.
“Sure,” I shrugged.
And with that the group I was with pushed us towards the entrance and we were about to enter the Reptile Room but not before two big M’s were written on my hands.
This was a whole new world to me and once I walk through that door, my life changed.
Angry music, mosh pits, almost getting trample and then being saved by the man I ended up marrying.

Ok, that was the BEST video I have seen so far! LOVED how you re-enacted the scene!! LOL! So you know how in my video, I invited Josh to a concert? It was to a Christian rock concert. With a Christian mosh pit. I kid you not! LOL!! But it was small and really not crazy moshing like you saw. It was more just up and down jumping……
