Hiding

by Jen on March 3, 2010

“Mommy, I hiding. You can’t see me!”

This cracks me up every time they do this. I love how they think that simply because they can’t see the world, they become invisible to everyone else.

Life really is so simple when you are two.

Sorry about that. Its part of the anti-Spam plugin that I have. I don’t want Spam comments so that means you all have to write more than one word. ;)

LOL! I remember one time when my now 10 yr old was about that size, he came out of his bedroom after bedtime with his pajama shirt over his head and walked down the hall and into his brother’s room to play, the whole time thinking we couldn’t see him LOL

it’s brilliant isn’t it? i love their logic. I just wish it were true, if I burried my head in my hands they wouldn’t be able to see me and bug me for 5 minutes whilst i just sat still.

BTW, I had no idea you were the head “Welcomista”– I’d always wondered how you were so intimately tied to SITS, and now I’ve figured it out!!!

oh yes. i love it when they do the whole, “you can’t see me thing” with their hands.

now. when they go and hide and don’t say a word and i *really* can’t see them, that’s a different story.

thanks for visiting my blog!

You are so right. A quiet house is no good when kids are around. Unless of course, its nap time. Nap time should be quiet.

My daughters come out of their beds late in the evening and stand near the living room door with their hands on the faces, just like this. They figure we can’t see them. Sometimes we pretend we can’t either.
