Our home town hosts an art competition called Art Prize.
Artists from all over the world come and fill out city will pieces of art.
Inside, outside, on things, any where you can think of.
It’s an amazing experience to explore and see interestingly beautiful pieces of art.
And that is just what we did.

Get out of town!! You live in GR?? My ‘home sweet home’ is in one of your photos. I live in River House Condos. I can’t believe I’ve been following you all this time and just now realize you’re in GR. We went to ArtPrize this morning, too, then to the circus. We LOVE GR. Take care…
I was just thinking that same thing Sara!! I live in GR too!! How did I not know that Jen?? Wierd!! Hoped you liked it as much a we did!!
Maybe we should start up a GR bloggers group?
Maybe someday… we will run into each other.
I agree!! You can pick us out of a crowd!! You guys too I guess! A GR bloggers group for sure!! That would be fun!!
Such fun photos, my friend. (say that 5 times fast – HA!) Looks like a great time! I love the one where the kids look like they are in the dinosaur’s mouth.
Thanks… sometimes I can take cool photos.
I miss Grand Rapids and Art Prize!! GAh. So sad to not be able to be there this year!
Steph
I wish that I could teleport you here.
I have missed Art Prize the past few years and truly want to make it there this year. My Uncle has an exhibit – its very kid friendly if you make it out again. He’s at MoJos. Its all Grand Rapids Riddles…fun cartoons and a rhyming game, too! Kenn Vidro is his name.
I have to check when it runs through…hoping to make it!
Oh, we will have to go and check that one out. I do hope you make it. It’s really good this year.
Dude..wish that was there when we visited..that would have been cool! Well, it’s still cool now, but would have been cool to see it in person.
